About this item

A rustic pair of French 19th Century fruitwood benches which has a lovely patina. Being sold as a pair they are a great size at 5 ft 7 inches and would look fantastic in a dining room or kitchen with a table, used in a hallway for seating or at the end of a bed as a luggage stand.

They are in good vintage condition, have splayed legs and mortice and tenon joints which are all solid and sound. There are signs of very minimal woodworm damage on one of the benches on its edge at one end and on the underside. The woodworm has long gone and has also been treated by us with woodworm killer.

As this is vintage there are signs of 'wear & tear', we try to show any blemishes in our photos. We restore all pieces ourselves and feel blemishes do not detract from the beauty of the piece and shows its history.

Price for set.
