Unusual pair of arm chairs from the Maricolen Nuns Cloister in the Center of the city of Antwerp Belgium. The chairs date to 1860 and were used in the dining room for the head sisters. We have had the seats and backs reupholstered in antique kilim carpet for an original and chic combination .
The back is lined in handspun 18th century blue cotton.
Large and comfortable chairs which are perfect for desk chairs or occasional chairs in a lounge or den. Price per pair.
