Set of two armchairs type 6950" designed by the Czech architect Jaroslav Smidek in the early 1960s. This piece is made of solid beech, upholstery in original condition, seat with structural damages, need to be replaced. Design of this armchair is example of the so-called "Brussels style", which was a style named after the Expo 58 exhibition in Brussels, where Czechoslovakia won 13 main prizes, including one for the furniture design. Manufactured in early 1960s by Jitona Soběslav.
