About this item

Very decorative silkscreen by Andy Warhol of Marilyn Monroe. This silkscreen is a Sunday B. Morning edition which means it's created with the original photo negatives and colour codes used in the Factory, the studio of Warhol in New York. It was Andy Warhol himself who gave two Belgian friends these negatives and codes to publish the first "Sunday B. Morning" edition. Why Andy Warhol never really tried to stop later publishings is not known. Anyway, this Marilyn is framed, signed and in excellent condition. The silver reflects as real "shiny silver" by the way.
Framed in a black wooden frame.
