About this item

This 1919 original watercolour is signed by F. Gwyneth and depicts HMS Curacoa, which sank in 1942 in a collision with the ocean liner RMS Queen Mary, with the loss of 337 men. This was painted very early on in the ships career as it was completed a year before the end of World War One. In its original frame, it measures 54cm wide x 27cm tall x 3cm deep. It shows signs of age with marks here and there and some wear to the frame (please see photos).

Perfect for any collection, or for display in your home or business.
