About this item

Celebrating the luck of the navy! This cool highly collectable midcentury modern original advertising wall plaque (circa 1950) was made to promote the brand Senior Service cigarettes. Launched in the 1920s and named after the nickname of the Royal Navy this popular tobacco brand was favoured by James Bond no less, who smokes Senior Service cigarettes in Ian Fleming’s novel, The Spy Who Loved Me!

Made out of plaster, this authentic vintage midcentury curiosity features an attractive Royal Navy wren. Small and perfectly formed, this charming midcentury piece would look lovely as a piece of wall art for your interior space.
